Canada Central Railway (CCR) once ran here. It is now part of the Trans Canada Hiking Trail. It began in Brockville in 1859 as the Brockville- Ottawa Railway, it reached Arnprior in 1864, Ottawa in 1870 and Pembroke in 1876. Looking west. - Carleton Place Airport gallérie photo
