Yes, it's a bit pricier than your average hostel in Hanoi but you also get so much more! Clean rooms, a good location (and not too noisy, they've done a good job cancelling the noisy streets outside) and incredibly helpful staff! I came back several times simply because the staff was just so genuinely nice. Epic breakfast, epic service. Thank you!

This is now the 3B homestay (part of 3B group of accommodations) Amazing staff, extremely friendly, helpful, smiling with great knowledge and very helpful with organising / assisting with other parts of or trip. They laid on a free Christmas party last night for staff and guests, with buffet, games kareoke and disco (though obviously this is a once in a year event and not guaranteed, but it's representative of the way they do things). Family room we are in is large and clean. Location is good for what we needed. Rates are excellent at the time we booked. Couldn't have hoped for more. English is well spoken by the staff. Email communications were good. Breakfast is mix of buffet plus some menu options. Free WiFi is also fast and reliable. Couldn't expect any more.

I stayed in Tran Hotel in January of 2014. Staff were friendly, efficient, and amazingly helpful. The hotel is very well located for visiting the Old Quarter of HaNoi. My room was clean, bed was comfortable. The price was very reasonable, and if you contact them directly at the hotel they will give you a rate comparable to the booking sites. I will visit again in October 2014, and I look forward to the great service.

Nice Hotel. New building .
We have spent 4 nights at this wonderful hotel in Hanoi, the rooms are very comfortable with computer and wifi connection of high quality in the room, the breakfasts are complete and a la cart, the staff is the most prominent hotel, always helping all times and advising for the perfect stay in Hanoi. We have no complaints for this property if still working in this way in the future appear in the top positions of the hotels in Hanoi, since apparently opened in September 2012, so the facilities are perfect. Thank you very much to all the staff for their treatment, they have helped us on the tours, advising and warning us of possible scams. Pd. A good location in the old town, guests can walk to all the places
