Mindys is one of my favorite foreigner bars in Pohang :) A good mix of Military folk and other foreigners living in Pohang. All the bar tenders speak perfect English. If you're looking for somewhere to shoot some pool, darts, foosball or just grab a drink and meet some good people. The friendly atmosphere and good music always results in a good night out.

I was there for a few evenings back in 2007. Very friendly atmosphere. You'll meet people from all over the globe there. I distinctly remember getting into a friendly headbutting contest with a few Irishmen after I'd had a few (dozen) drinks. I think I started it, but I can't remember for sure. By the reaction I received, this was not something that happened frequently, so I wouldn't let my experience scare you away.
Mindy's is an excellent place to go if you're a European or North American looking for some of the comforts of home alongside a large helping of multicultural drinking buddies. The music is great, the food is good enough, and the drinks are strong and reasonably-priced. In all of my extensive travelling for business, it is my favorite night spot, by far.
