It's a very quiet place with lots of birds! And a small Shrine (?) and a small river too. The perfect place to take a walk in the mornings and probably take someone out on a date on the evenings. Though, it's also a place people with children frequent to, so no smoking and acting inappropriately allowed ;D.

この公園は、江戸時代の伊予大洲（おおず）藩加藤家の上屋敷の跡地で、公園内の八幡神社は、その屋敷内の鎮守であったそうです。
昼間は近隣のサラリーマンたちの休憩所ですが、土地柄か、ホームレスのような人たちが多くいて、夜も余計にそのような傾向があり、少し治安が心配です。

I went there in an early morning in April. Sakura falling down made a great view. Area is quiet and pure.

遊具も色々あり、安全ブランコなど幼児向けのもある。砂場は柵で囲まれていてそこそこ綺麗に保たれている。広々としていて、小さなお社やせせらぎがあり、特に東側は大人の休憩所としても賑わっている。
ただしゴミや吸い殻、鳩のフンなどが目立つので、誤飲や衛生面での心配のある小さいお子さんにはあまりオススメできないかも。
