Radisson Blu es. Hotel Rome

The hotel is good. Location is convenient to Termini and and shopping and some restaurants. The neighborhood is not so nice; maybe safe enough I guess at least during the day, but feels scary especially in the night.

One of the best Hotel in Rome. Really close to Termini station. Modern, with pool at 7th floor and American museum concept (a rarity in Rome). Did not taste the restaurant and cocktail bar yet. Great deep house DJ set on Thursday evening.

This is certainly not my favorite Radisson. It's on a convenient location by the train station, but walking back to the hotel at night I didn't feel particularly safe in this neighborhood. The rooms are cool, modern, but they are very small with almost no storage space. The rooftop restaurant has a nice terrace. Gym is appalling: very small, crammed, some of the equipment didn't work. Good for weekend getaway, but wouldn't stay here for longer

I would give this hotel a very poor rating for several reasons. It calls itself a 5 star hotel and the prices reflect it, but nothing about it is 5 star. The location is in a definitely shady area that feels unsafe after dark. The rooms are strangely designed and do not have even a basic cupboard. We stayed 3 nights and mostly lived out of a suitcase. While the breakfast spread is good, lunch and dinner should definitely be avoided here. The only thing we liked about this hotel is the service. The staff is polite and helpful so full marks to them!!

Overall.. unless you have a compelling reason to stay near the station, I would recommend that this hotel be avoided.

LOCAL COACH TOUR DESK - Ysabel who works on the Local Coach Tour desk in the Radisson Blu drew up a superb private tour for us with a professional guide (in french!) covering "hidden Rome" - a first off trip because it didn't exist before Ysabel made it for us. We had 3 hours of joy visiting the most insolite parts of Rome with the guide, it was bliss to drink his words based on the tour that had been established. This is the best way to visit a city and Ysabel and her partner will give you all the help necessary to do this or any other tour. A huge thank you Ysabel for your warmth and kindness - we'll never forget the tour you did for us, thank you.
