בית כנסת עתיק ששופץ לחלוטין, והפך את פניו החיצוניים והפנימיים לחלוטין, הדור הישן הביא את הרב בני לאו כרב הקהילה, ואחריו הגיעו משפחות צעירות רבות לקהילה שהיתה מאוד מבוגרת.
הקהילה מאוד תוססת ומקיימת הרבה פעילויות, שותפה בהרבה מיזמים חברתיים ותורנים בשכונה ובכלל.
הכל מתנהל בצורה מסודרת מאוד.
המבנה עצמו מעוצב בצורה מאוד יפה וחכמה

Very nice synagogue. The men's section was packed on Friday night, and I barely got a seat. Besides that, the architecture is nice and the people are also. Just note, the Wikipedia article is talking about the synagogue in the old city, not this (relatively) new one.

Haramban Synagogue is apperently the oldest octive synagogue in the old city of Jerusalem. Having two Torah scroll cabins and Romansque shape, it is possible that it is a structure from Crusaders times that was turned later into a synagogue. Having constanst local prayer and study groups, the synagogue presents a genuine religious Jewish atmosphere.
