Visited this restaurant today for lunch . The restaurant is located at kathriguppe junction next to the coffee day building , first floor .
The restaurant is empty most of the time and the ambience is really dull and gloom . There are only two attentive waiters who make the experience a little better .
Coming to the food we went for the buffet -
1.chaas - it was good and refreshing ! It's kept in a mud pot so it's cooler than room temperature and given the fact that it's unlimited it's great!
2.salads and papads - it's a little disappointing there is no proper salad only raw vegetables like carrot , onion and cucumber which isn't that fresh either . You also get a masala papad and fryms .
3. Starters - there are two starters , Aloo tiki and papdi chat . The Aloo tiki is again not freshly made , as it is kept on a heated cloche it's becomes more dry. The papdi chat is freshly made and good enough .
4. Roti, naan etc - all Indian breads are available and although made freshly they are not so great , the naan was too thick and rubbery .
4.panner makahni - it was the only curry that was decent and had a little flavour in it , nothing great ....just edible .
5.plantain curry / palaya - it's was something really different but sadly it was bland and didn't have much taste and it was also a little towards dry side .
6.dal makahni - this was one of the saddest dal makahni I ever had , it was bland, the dal was overcooked and turned into paste , the curry wasn't anywhere close to dal makahni taste .
7.veg pulao - again bland in taste and just edible there was nothing to it....just sad .
8 . Samber - regular ordinary samber nothing to it .
9. White rice - more like soda rice
10 . curds - fortunately fresh
11.kulfi - I really liked the idea of kulfi Instead of ice cream , it was good . Sadly it was frozen too long or at too low temperature which made the taste like ice but it returned to its original taste after leaving it at room temp for few mins.
The buffet is priced at 280 + tax . Overall very very very satisfactory lunch, other than the feeling that my stomach is full I don't have any other feeling ...no joy no satisfaction or anything . Really sad
Fortunately the staff are attentive and really polite so no issues with that but the food needs huge huge improvements . The ambience badly needs a facelift especially the washroom which was stinking badly .
Wouldn't really suggest to anyone and wouldn't want to visit again if the same issues continue .

This outlet serves Rajasthani cuisine but the quality of food leaves much to be desired. The ambience is one comforting factor in this food joint.
