One of those places with a sweet European flaire! Not many places like this around in Berlin. When the weather is good, there is always open air dancing close to Bodemusum - salsa, tango, cha cha cha, definetly worth going by. A very nice view of the Dom and the Museumsinsel.

This park is great for kids. Playgrounds and nearby strand-bars at the river makes it for a great family place. Great views of the museum insel from here.

Green oasis in the very centre of Berlin, good unexpected break from the stone and brick of museum island. Free sport facilities. Quiet break on the grass or in the shadow of a tree. Love this place! And occasional yoga on Saturdays if good weather
