We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Breakfast is very good. The hotel is very central and in walking distance to every possible site.

The well-located Hotel Hackescher Markt is a great place to stay in Berlin, especially for first-time visitors who want to see the sights. I liked that the hotel is near the restaurants in the square outside the train station. I liked having a coffee, or wine, sitting outside the cafe and watching the people walking from the station. My tours began on that same square so that was extremely convenient.
Best of all was how nice the people working at the hotel are.

The hotel is a close walk to anywhere you'd want to see as a tourist. The rooms are airy and have everything you would want. The staff are courteous (and remember you when you have to buzz in).

Had a great experience at this very centrally located hotel! My only comment would be that I wished their was AC, but I realize AC is less common in Europe and more difficult to install in older buildings. Aside from that the accommodations were great!
