Classic restaurant with the “old sailor club” theme. It is cozy and casual but also very stylish. The foods are humble tribute to traditional Finnish meals. Some I love and some not so much. My favourites are the salmon soup and steaks, while the pork escalope and meatballs are too fatty for me. Price is above medium but portion is huge and one main course is enough to fill a hungry stomach. Food and service quality have been consistently good.

I loved it. Cozy atmosphere right from the entrance! And the staff, smiling and cheer full! Not to mention the food, over went all of my expectations! Definitely coming here next time I'm visiting Helsinki, in October 😉

Good place to mingle with locals. Huge portions of (almost) homemade food. Children size meals are available too. Longish waiting times.
