We came early on Saturday evening just for a quick dinner, the restaurant manager was quite rude, because we didn’t book a table even thought the restaurant was empty and remained so after we left. The waitress came 10 minutes after we were sitting there as the only new guests. The food was okay, we had pasta and burger, nothing special, but you get what you pay. Only the beef in the burger could have been seasoned a little better.

This pub presents it has good Czech food and Czech beer. I was honestly disappointed with the food as a starter I ordered bramboráčky which were fried on the pan until their death. The potato panckes were dry, hard to cut and bit tasteless. The main dish was hard for me to pick. Either the food was too large, I mean who wants to eat half of duck in August or an entire knee, after that the Czech food selection was very poor. We had the usual řízek in 2 or 3 variations and then burgers, wings, steaks and ribs. What's Czech about that, I don't have a clue. The main dish was decent, but don't be fooled by the restaurant calling it self Czech it has the same menu as hundreds of other places in Prague not one thing in the menu is special about this place. What I also found disappointing was the lack of lemonades. In the middle of the summer you could have a home made one, but no. Only chemical variations :-(

Best draft Kozel beer i experienced. You can feel good care and technology like behind top served Pilsner. Combined with amazing ribs and pork knee... this place never let you down. But without reservation you must have good luck to find seat. Can be unpleasatly loud place.
