The Aesthetics of the restaurant are excellent and we had a good breakfast.... but I can't help but think the waitresses was very moody and she ninja vanished in the middle of a breakfast we never saw her again. On top of that they automatically added a 10% tip. I don't mind tipping but I don't know if I would have given 10 % to a waitress who vanished in the middle of my meal. They do however have some very cool golden Swans in the bathroom

After reading other 1 star reviews I was a little nervous walking up here for dinner without a reservation on a Friday night, but we were sat immediately and had no issues. I will say that we dressed really nice and spoke the little Czech we knew to the hostess (which was not much). There's certainly no dress code here, but I'm sure it helps to clean up and make a good impression.

Either way, man am I glad we got sat; this place was absolutely delicious from appetizers to drinks to main courses (we couldn't fit in dessert). We ordered the French onion soup, rabbit croquette, braised veal and the hanger steak. Everything was outstanding - I can't say enough good things about them. That and 4 glasses of wine only ran us about 90$ USD after tip! The gratuity is added automatically, but it's very worth it because the service is spot on. Highly recommend!

Food tastes as good as the interior looks, great place to eat on our first night in Prague. Our party of seven had different main courses, all of which were excellent. The service was on a par with the food and décor.

Beautiful restaurant. Great place for breakfast. Good choices for all types of food. The decor alone is worth the visit.

We entered the place and we were asked for our reservation. We said, 'oh sorry we didn't know that we have to reserve'. In principle this is not a problem to be rejected for not having a reservation. However, there were only 6 or 8 people sitting in this huge Café, which implies they rejected us for no reason. I do not care how prestigious this Café is or how classy or whatever. In the long run you will loose your reputation when you treat people like this and I ensure with this review that you Café Imperial are reminded of the fact that offering a service does not work without its customers!
