Probably the best hotel in Prague when it comes to service and friendliness of its staff. Simple tram ride (or a decent 15 min walk) from all the sites. Great beds and good wifi (restart the in room router if you find it slowing down) .. This is where I will stay everytime I come to Prague!

Loved everything about this hotel. The staff are absolutely the best, very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a regal touch to it with each room themed on different generals over the the centuries. The location is perfect with breweries and restaurants surrounding the area and lots of Prague attractions within walking distance. The owner is into hunting, so the wall hangings were a little unnerving. But a very small detail which depends on personal taste. Highly recommend this place at least for a 1-2 night stay.

Hotel General is a super nice and cozy hotel on the west side of the river. Their personell is super nice and always wants to help you with anything. The rooms have some interesting interiors which means: they're modern but at the same time have and old style appended to it.

The only downside is it's located a bit far from both Old and New Town.

Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. They staff and hospitality was wonderful and very attentive. They provided welcome drinks, a welcome fruit basket and plenty of assistance on how to get around and what to see. They are very well located to public transportation. We did take advantage of their garage parking since it was convenient and safe. Note that the entrance to the indoor parking is VERY NARROW and is not for the faint hearted.

Breakfast was included and it was very delicious. Aside from the usual buffet, they offered chef specials like French toast, porridge (oatmeal), omelets, etc.we also had dinner here one night and their risotto and chocolate cake was very yummy.

We travelled with our 17 mon son and they provided a comfortable baby cot (travel crib/ play yard). They also offer free babysitting even though we did not use it.

Their room and bathroom were very comfortable and good size. We stayed in a junior suite and had a king size bed (in addition to crib). Bed is very comfortable and we slept well.

Overall, I highly recommend the hotel to anyone and my family and I would stay here again.
