Expensive and the water in the shower is sometimes cold.
Location not the best either.....
We stayed in Casas after 3 days in the hotel.
Next time if I visit Cuba again I would definitely book a casa.

This is a charming but basic budget hotel with a great location.
I have stayed here half a dozen times and would book again. The rooms are basic, the food is basic (although their variations on ham, cheese, and bread can be very creative!), but the staff are generally helpful and friendly, and the rooms are clean.
You should insist on an inside room, as those facing the street can be very very loud.
The outdoor patio is a great place to people-watch (although sometimes the crowd does get a little bit rough, and there are always people there for the wrong reasons, if you know what I mean). Close to other major hotels and amenities, this hotel will save you a lot of money on taxis.
The hotel has issues with water pressure and the availability of hot water, but in this regard is no different from any other Havana hotel (including high end ones).
The hotel is close to the iconic University Stairs, to the Napoleon Museum, and to Biki's (my favorite Havana restaurant). Everything, including Old Havana, Chinatown, and the Vedado district, is within walking distance.
Finally, like the name suggests, this hotel is on a hill and quite safe from the flooding issues experienced by other Havana hotels.

Gentlemen Galas Hotel, I was in Havana City Cuba hosted in Hotel Vedado the night of August 3 and from August 4 to 6 in Hotel Colina.
My experience at Hotel Vedado is poor, the hotel is in very poor condition, there is no light in the room, dirty towels and in very poor condition, broken windows, a disaster in the end.
The Hotel Colina does not have water or bath, when I go to the hotel I stay in room 407 and I had several times to complain because the magnetic key was not useful, and complain about the water, other guests told me that they had to fill the basket of The garbage with a glass to be able to bathe.
In short I inform you so that they know in what conditions these hotels are that distance much price versus state and service.

Hotel Colina gets an 'okay' rating. The rooms are among the cleanest I've seen, across multiple hotels in Cuba. The bathroom is organized well, and the bed was quite comfortable.
Unfortunately we did encounter water issues similar to previous reviews.
