Located right across the street from the Chongwenmen subway station (which is right "downtown") this has been one of the most convenient hotels for any traveler.
The service was also fantastic, even though their English was (painfully) limited, they did their best and managed to communicate everything they wanted in the end, which is a sign of their outstanding communication and customer service skills.
The hotel is clean, the room is comfortable (and clean), and well laid out.
The towels are soft and absorbent (a plus, when you are in a hot and humid weather, taking showers twice a day) and the hot water is from their natural springs (!!)
The A/C worked wonderfully, the TV was well positioned and the overall feel of the room is comfort.
When our TV went on the fritz and we couldn't read Chinese to fix it, they sent someone up in 30 seconds.
