Didn't stay so trying to be neutral but walked in and walked out.. entire place is full of people neither eating or drinking, just sitting on their laptops wearing ear plugs many of them, nowhere to sit.. bartender didn't offer to make any room or even make eye contact with us so we walked out

My favourite place to grab a coffee and work during the day. Friendly staff, excellent drinks and the best darn music 🎶

DJ blasting music on a chill social night... Just why? Couldn't hear my friend 1 foot from my face. Not a good atmosphere, be a club or be a pub but don't try and be both because it ends up as a pub that's just too loud. Had a beer, chugged it and left for greener pastures so didn't stay too long but the aesthetic wasn't bad from what I saw. Hopefully it's more chill on other days where there isn't events (I was attending the meow meow)

Great cocktails, staff and prices. Not as sunny or elegant as some other cafes, but sometimes that's so perfect - it's low key, friendly and easy. The coffee is just OK, but hey, at least it's OK.

The Holy Oak is best described as a nice, quaint hipster café and bar. Relatively quiet and populated by Macbook users and latte sippers during the day but transformed during the night by live music and occasional impromptu dancing.
Overall a great neighbourhood hang out. Small selection of alcoholic beverages, not a lot of food at all so look elsewhere for lunch or dinner.
