I have been reading a lot about Dermaplaning in publications such as Elle and Allure and was delighted to find out that OMNI now offered the treatment. Dermaplaning is one of the more unexpected beauty treatments I had ever undergone and I couldn't help but think: This woman is about to exfoliate my face with a razor...what if she slips? Thankfully, my nervousness waned as the staff at OMNI explained the procedure to me and while I settled into the plush operating chair.
To begin, my skin was cleansed and then moisturized. Then a razor was used to gently scrape the surface of my skin, taking bits of dead skin and dirt away with each motion. The entire process took less than 40 minutes and was pain free. It consisted of precise feather- like strokes which immediately resulted in smoother, brighter, and more even skin — not to mention eliminated all unwanted peach fuzz and facial hair.
The entire staff is so personable and professional and the facility was beautiful and comfortable. From the front desk staff to the providers- everyone I met was wonderful and extremely patient in explaining each step of the process. The results were better than I anticipated and I am looking forward to having this procedure done on a monthly basis at OMNI.
