Amazing free contemporary art gallery. Highly recommended and one of my favorite things from my recent trip to calgary. They even offer free parking out back? What’s not to love? Furthermore the building itself was amazing and the staff was very friendly. While you’re there check out the furniture and lighting design stores in the same building. I can’t afford any of the stuff but it is amazing.

Would recommend to anyone trying to get into art galleries - that is, the practice of visiting and appreciating them.
Free, quality, and a good couple of hours with new exhibits every couple months.

Usually pretty interesting exhibits, all for free. Rotates fairly often, so you can check it out every couple months or so.

beautiful. one of my favourite art galleries in the cities. the reading lounge has a lovely view and is perfect for snuggling and reading during the sunset.

Arguably Calgary's best contemporary art space. Their curators put on great exhibits with artists that push the envelope. The social and cultural relevance of the Esker Foundation's shows makes they always worth going to.
