While enjoying a decent African meal, I couldn't help but notice one of the zebras on the back wall is either two headed with an extra leg, or the other zebra is missing a few limbs! :)
Setting aside the lovely decor, the food is varied and you can find something for all tastes. As entrees we shared the golden balls, fried banana and mince samosas (all freshly cooked). The curries we had as mains were also cooked individually (not just reheated like some restaurants) and were awesome with the buttery addictive flat bread. My friend asked for the peanut butter soup, which they most definitely had, and smothered his hands and face with foufou dipped in the nutty goat sauce. We downed our curries with homemade ginger beer and left very satisfied and content. Recommended for something different!

As a South African living in Sydney, I often miss African cuisine. Thankfully, African Feeling Restaurant delivers some fantastic food from my continent! The lovely atmosphere and rich, beautiful decorations make for a wonderful dining experience. Working for a non-profit, I have hosted a few events at African Feeling, as the restaurant owner and head chef, Hudu Alhassan, is a very generous man actively engaged in supporting charities and community. His restaurant also supplied scrumptious nibbles at a big fundraiser my non-profit held last year. Most recently, I held my birthday celebration there and had an amazing time! Everyone loved the food, even those who had never tried (and were initially unsure of) African food. If you're looking to try something different, but which is also palatable to Western tastes, look no further. I cannot recommend it more highly!

A group of us had a wonderful night here. The food was fabulous, the service was great & we were very well looked after. For a great night out & value for money I highly recommend African Feeling!
