Me and some co-workers visited Pastabilities based on some great recommendations from some locals and it did not disappoint. Each entree was delicious and unique. Enough to even have food to take. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's a loud fun environment and I would highly recommend.

I can't go to Syracuse and not go to Pastabilities. Savory food and good service. Try the Duck Bacon pizza or the Basil-Walnut Pesto. If you're in the mood for something sweet, the Butternut Squash Ravioli is the way to go.

Unique dishes, friendly/knowledgeable staff, nice atmosphere.
The wait is long, but we were lucky that it was a little chili when we went and we were willing to sit outside, so we got a table fairly quickly in the back courtyard (nice quiet setting).
Spicy Hot Tomato Oil -- EXCELLENT. 1st dish of this sauce is complimentary with bread, and if you'd like more it's $5.
Wiki Wiki Chicken Rigies -- spicy, but very tasty. Wish it was a little less spicy. It's better with meatballs than chicken.
Carbonara -- not very tasty. Mixed it with the leftover wiki wiki sauce and it became a perfect amount of heat.

My first impression was not good so of course I won't be returning or referring. It's VERY loud inside the dining area and the food was just ok. The thing that really bothered me was this: my boyfriend picked this place to eat for his birthday dinner. When the bill came, he offered the waitress his card. I told the waitress not to take his card since it was HIS birthday. The waitress refused my money 3 times despite my instance that she not let him pay on HIS birthday.
Honestly, I'm in complete shock. Not a good experience paired with complete disregard for trying to treat my boyfriend to a birthday dinner. Pastabilities, I now hate you.

I appreciate a well run business. We sat across from the kitchen. The staff were lively and in good humor but very focused. No dish sat after being prepared. They still had steam coming off some when they left for the table. The staff member who garnished the plates coordinated orders and had a very professional interaction with wait staff. No demanding or blaming, just everything done right.
By the way, food was great.
