Laid back, friendly little bar. The crowd here was friendly and the drinks were imaginative.

Popular sidebar with friendly bartenders, well-made drinks and lively atmosphere. Good for a quick shot of tequila on the way home. Younger, hip and happy crowd that still believe in hope. And don't be dismayed by the name: the only thing lowrider is the art on the walls.

My wife and I were walking by this place around 1 pm on vacation. It was near our hotel and we just wanted to stop in to have a drink. We were told at the lower level of the restaurant that we could go upstairs for a drink. I asked the bartender at the top of the stairs if that was OK and he said that it was the chef's policy that we must have something off of the menu in order to buy a drink?? We had eaten a late breakfast and were not at all hungry. I said we will pass. Nothing like turning away business. Since it was so close we may have considered dining there later, but now it's just a turn off.
