Awesome brunch and also good for a bite in the afternoon. Order their delicious ginger lemon apple cider and their home made bread with butter. Bread is baked in their own ovens inside the restaurant.

Went here for lunch on a Monday after a weekend of food tourism that left us feeling overstuffed and bloated, and here at outer lands we found the antidote. Their charming décor was lovely, and on their lunch menu full of unique choices, we found avocado toast with cucumbers and a pear salad that we shared and both thoroughly enjoyed. They filled us up while leaving us feeling the restaurant feeling refreshed. Much recommended!

I was expecting phenomenal food based on the reviews. The setting is neat. The menu has little options, but very unique choices. The chili was very tasty however thinned out a lot and lacking much meat. I expect chili to be more hearty. All in all, not exceptional but still very good.

I have rewritten my review this restaurant from 2 years ago I gave it five stars then.
I guess its fine dining in the outer sunset; $12 cocktails, $32 steakes. Great service but it can be a long wait for a table.
My wife had the steak, we found it well cooked and the sides we're very good but a little too much fat on the meat for us. I had the Lamb, the meat was tender and the sides we're great but the meat was way too salty.
Its nice to have such a place within walking distance from my home they just need to deliver for the price. Two drinks, two aps, and two entrees cost $112 without tip. May be $112 does not seem high for San Fransisco but it is high for the Outer Sunset considering the other restaurants in the area. If they are going to charge $22 for a 3" x 3" x 1" piece of lamb I would hope that someone would taste it first.
All my griping aside I like the restaurant and I'm sure I will go there again.

I have been here a number of times over the years and it's always been great! I love the local neighbourhood atmosphere, the interior and of course the great food selection! I got back into town yesterday so hopefully I'll get to go again this trip!
