Good food, friendly staff. If you live in West Oakland, it's also a nice place to get good thai food at reasonable prices with free parking in the back lot.

Though we haven't dined in yet, Monkey Thai is our go-to for ordering in.
I was raised in Asia and spent many-a Chinese New Year and Summer Vacay in Thailand. Monkey Thai is the absolute closest I've come to traditional, authentic foods I was raised on. Obviously, their popularity suggests they can stay true to their roots as well as appeal to the American palate. Yes, it can be done! And, Monkey Thai is living proof!
Great food for a good price -- worth every penny. Eat here.

I love this place! The food is gr8, clean atmosphere, great service and amazing Price's! It's one of my favorite nieghbor, family style eatery.

The best seafood salad in town. And the summer roll was large and quite tasty too. But the prices are higher than average. You definitely Pay a bit more for a bit more food.
Dining Room is small and relatively clean.
Don't be put off by The ugly 1960s looking strip mall. And the location is not optimum either - - outside the old Nas Alameda navy base. But, if you eat here you won't leave disappointed.
