Really enjoyed this and very informative. As we were moving the narration focused on things in front of the boat that we couldn't see from inside...would be better if narrator waited until those things were beside us. Would definitely recommend this however. Seeing 4 super aircraft carriers side by side was amazing!

Very nice cruise. Narration seems very knowledgeable. Plenty of indoor climate controlled seats but imo to really get the feel, go up top or on the bow or stern, outside. A variety of small snacks and drinks are available for a moderate price. There is a bathroom on board.

What ships you see is dependant on deployment. Must have got lucky cause we saw a ton of different ships. 4 carriers, 3 subs, frigates, destroyers, etc. In addition you'll see cargo ships, coast guard and noaa research ships. Note that you'll be several hundred yards or more away from the majority of these ships for obvious reasons.

One of the main reasons we visited Norfolk was to tour the Naval Base. We took the river cruise on the Victory Rover, as well, a bus tour of the base and while we enjoyed and recommend both tours if you only have time for one, take the river cruise. The bus tour provided a different perspective and you also saw the base which interesting, but you get a much better view of the ships from the river. We found the narrative provided by The Victory Rover’s captain was well presented and very informative, he provided much more information about the various ships the the guide on the bus tour. Given the number of ships in port at the time, his vast knowledge was very impressive.

Took the tour (on July 5) with our 3 children (14, 12, 10). We didn't purchase tickets online before and arrived only 10 minutes prior. They were nice and able to accomodate us. It's the closest you will get to see working Navy Ships. Felt honored to be able to see them this close. Narrator gave details on all of the ships. I can't comment if info was correct or not. It was a good experience. I would take the tour again and recommend friends to take the tour.

A really well navigated boat tour today despite overcast cold weather. Well worth price admission. Tours at 11am 2pm and 530pm during summer time.
