I eat here 3-4 times/year, and it is always EXCELLENT. I, too, suspect the negative reviews are by either competitors or fools. Or both. The ambiance is historic and romantic. The food is fantastic, and the service is exceptional. I have NEVER had a bad meal there. I see complaints about the price, and that, too, is ridiculous, but that's probably from people who think the Olive Garden is fine dining. The Candleworks is great.

I dont know what has happened to Candleworks over the years but this was the worst dining experience I have had. The seafood was undercooked, vegetables were overcooked and wilted. The salad tasted like it sat out for over a hour and the chicken alfredo was like eating cardboard tasteless. I would never again recommend anyone to this restaurant. The worst valentine dinner yet. Extremely over priced
