She cares which is a rarity in our current system of assembly line medicine. Dr. Blake will take the time to talk to you and she actually listens. When I came to her for help with thyroid disease, after many frustrating months of poor care by endocrinologists, she looked into other approaches and worked with me to develop an optimum plan. She saved my life.

I have been seeing Dr. Blake for almost 20 years. She is the best Dr. I have ever seen, and I recommend her to everyone I know. She is a little unorthodox, but I consider that a good thing. She is constantly reading up on new effective treatment options rather than just keeping the status quo. She is a great listener, and practices with a great deal of honesty and integrity.

I've been going to Dr. Blake for about a decade, she helped me get through puberty and the rest. She's a great doctor. She knows her limits and will tell you outright if she's qualified to help you with a medical issue you're having. However, if she doesn't feel comfortable treating you on an serious condition she will certainly recommend a doctor that can help; be it an endocrinologist, a dermatologist or even a gynecologist. She's friendly and up beat. While some may see this as unprofessional I see it as welcoming. I feel I can tell her anything about how I'm feeling and believe she will try to help; be it physically or mentally. She's a perfect general practitioner for families.
