Not only my favorite Italian restaurant, but probably my favorite overall restaurant in Baton Rouge. It is a bit out of the way but worth finding. Excellent food in a cozy little space. Great date place or to visit with friends. Can't recommend this place enough.

Only ordered the muffaletta and I was left very disappointed. The bread was soggy and sweet, no sesame seeds on the bread, and they skimped on the meat (also a weird selections of meat, pepperoni on a muffaletta?)
Would have only left one star, but at least the olive salad was okay.

I was not really impressed with my last meal here.
The chicken Parmesan poboy tasted like it was fried in old grease. It was slightly dry, but putting sauce on it made it bearable.
The salad was very vinegary, and the lettuce had a pre made bag taste to it. The olive mix was good.
The dressing for the cold pasta tasted like straight mayonnaise. Blah ....
The free bread appetizer was good.

The food is really good and the atmosphere is definitely casual. Good for a relaxed date. Don't let the prices fool you because the portions are big.
