A great museum packed to the rafters with interactive displays for all ages. The atmosphere is felt through out each floor, just look at the worn stone steps, it must have taken a couple of hundred years to be like they are. We will be visiting again :o)

Really interesting visit with so much to see and lots of information and history, finished off with a trip around the block in a real fire engine. Great value for money.

This museum is a gem absolutely brilliant too see all things 999 great to be able to try uniforms on and sit on various emergency vehicles see the cells and real old 1800's vehicles outstanding 2-3 hour walk round nice little cafe and coffee shop too the only thing that would be nice to see the vehicle s outside is under cover more to protect our history for longer and not to deteriorate further thanks for my visit enjoyed fully
