Quite gastro pub with excellent menu and very friendly staff. More restaurant than pub, has a small beer garden out back. The pub quiz is particularly good here.

Came here for Sunday roast, the beef was beautiful cooked and the gravy was lovely but the roast potatoes let the whole meal down! As they tasted old and very dried out

Lovely pub and garden. Food is great and the beer is delicious. Dog friendly and you'll get service with a smile. By the bartender a drink, they get them half price.

We come in regularly & until recently never ever had an complaints. But recently, have found the staff stroppy & rude. On one occasion we were practically locked in as we had not paid the full service charge even though there were problems with the order & one person didn't get their food for some time. Isn't service charge supposed to be optional? Aren't staff supposed to be helpful? When asked what soft drinks do you have the reply was limonade & coke... seriously, not welcoming at all & glad we won't be there for the next few weeks..
