I would avoid the opticians here. My elderly father was prescribed the wrong contact lenses to trial. These are to use for a month... three weeks in he was advised they are not safe to drive in as they are the wrong type for him!

My mother had an eye check, was sent for an operation... after the surgeon reviewed her notes he was surprised that the eye specified in the referral was healthy... the optician put down the wrong eye!!!
Thankfully my mother corrected them before the surgical procedure started!
