I went in for a coffee. Seems the hotel has now closed along with the coffee shop. Whilst open, it was great to just drop in and enjoy a cup of coffee in a relaxed environment.

Nice hotel. No Free WiFi in the 4th floor and mattes too soft for my liking however it is a nice, clean and great hotel. The breakfast was good as well.

we have stayed here several times and the rooms are rather spacious but really could do with a lick of paint. The staff are really friendly. My Financee stayed once and the receptionist said although the bar was closed she was happy to get her a drink from the bar cabinet as it was 1 am. As my finacee was traveling alone she said that the receptionist stayed up to have a girlie chat through out the night .
On other ocassions when returning from a night out drunk and alone the staff looked after her well
The breakfast was fantastic and despite served early the chef was not complaining we was the only people who wanted breakfast .
We was aloud to check in early which was good
warning single ladies dont stay here alone the male staff can be floozy so take a friend

Beds are very old, you can feel the springs !! Asked for help with Internet connection. Plug cable and follow instructions is the best advice on offer. Even though it doesn't work. Holiday Inn next or hilton on broad 5 mins down the road.

Pretty poor. Room broadband didn't work, hotel not too bothered about fixing it. Window wouldn't shut properly so woken up by a refrigerated lorry outside at 6am with his engine on for an hour. Made to feel like I was trying it on at breakfast when I had pre-paid. Good location, ultimately uninviting once inside. Won't be going back.
