My mom and I booked this last minute and were thrilled he was available. From the moment we met him he was so friendly. From the car ride there through the tour and on the way back to hotel he was incredibly informative and charismatic. Before the tour we didn't know a lot about Hadrian's Wall and were so glad we decided to hire a tour guide. I would not go to the wall without a guide and Kevin is your guy!!
Kevin was fantastic!! I highly, highly recommend him!!!

What a fantastic experience.
When ever I researched these kind of things I've always been worried they were going to be managed by ex SAS types who would sneer at my pathetic attempt to start a fire and make me do press ups every time I stood on a twig!
Having read the reviews I plumped for Wild Dog Outdoors and I'm so glad I did. Kevin is such an affable guy. Mild mannered and charming with a stunning knowledge of the outdoors you can't help but be infected by his enthusiasm. By Kevin's side, his wife Sara. I think that famous quote "behind every great man is a great woman" springs to mind. A brilliant partnership and together they make the whole day an unforgettable experience.
I wish I was a professional reviewer so I could do them more justice. All I can say is; Go, have a great day then come back here and tell everyone else.

we asked Kevin (from wild dog outdoors) to provide the entertainment for our son's 8th birthday party. Roan is really into history,so kevin pitched up in his full celtic outfit. He built a small camp in our back field and then showed all the boys how our distant ancestors lit fires, using a variety of methods such as flint and friction: they all had a go. They then made their own throwing arrows from willow saplings, decorating their own flights, which was great fun. Next their built their own wood shelters then Kevin served them hotdogs and hot chocolate prepared over the campfire. Boys loved it: outside the whole time (total of about 3 hours), no mess to clear up, even had an educational element to the birthday party! would highly recommend it if you are considering a birthday party for your child (probably best aged 8 and upwards as they do need to be able to listen and focus on tasks such as firelighting).

Great experience. Really professional and Knowledgeable team. Kev and Sara made us all feel very welcome and we especially lopved the fire lighting session. A must for anyone wanting a true outdoor experience!!!
