The exterior is authentically designed, fanciful and detailed. Their taste in decor is exceeded only by their taste in food- complex curries, wonderful fresh naan, fast and attentive service. A must-visit restaurant when you come to Riyadh!

Ambience was OK. Food not too great, everything tasted sweet and was very heavy. Not value for money.

I tried this place about 2 years ago, so my review is based on that visit. I'm not sure if things have changed since then, but seeing other recent reviews, it sounds like it hasn't.
Don't let the nice exterior fool you. We went with high expectations since the building itself was very appealing, only to leave disappointed. The entire restaurant wreaked of grease, the tables and curtains didn't look the least bit clean, and the lighting was horrible. The food was okay, albeit a bit spicy for our liking, even though we requested the minimum amount of spice. Also, anything fried we ordered smelled and tasted as if it was all fried with seafood (while we didn't order any seafood). We do not plan on returning.

Service was very unprofessional, no greeting at the entrance and also no farewell greetings. The server are very cold in their approaches and I asked for sweet chutney and Achar, the response were direct and straight forward, we don't have and that's how we served. I was surprise to his attitude. When the served food, no one even asked if you need anything else or may be water or bread. I have to waited for long enough to present the bill. I got up and called them from kitchen as they all were there. When presented CC.. he immediately charge without given me invoice to go through. Once charged C.C. he brought the invoice after.. food was average compare to what my expectations was.. there is more and far better good places for Indian food. It's just the SHOW. For service I would not recommended anyone to go there. Good luck and no presence of Manager on the floor.
