We stayed in a dorm. The key to our room had been lost the day before and we couldn't lock our room the first day. There was very little privacy at the toilets and showers, because the doors couldn't be locked. The hostel is situated in a very noisy area and the home page of the hostel promised free ear plugs, but they were out of them when we asked for some. Generally many of us slept badly while staying at the hostel. The staff was friendly and the view from the room was beautiful. When leaving Bucharest one in our group found a bed bug on her jacket, which might have come from the hostel.

Great hospitality! The hostel workers I encountered had great willingness to help make my and other guests vacations better by showing us where free parking is, by taking us to nearby banks to exchange money, by taking me and my roommates to where the Old Town Bucharest tour starts. A cozy reading room. A restaurant and bar in the hostile. Great for social gatherings, and partiers. It is party central!

If you want a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, stay somewhere else.

Great location just in the heart of Bucharest's old town. Good price also.

The bathroom is akward. They should improve them. There is no A/C so if you go on summer months be prepared. Great location just in the heart of Bucharest's old town. Good price also.

Very nice hostel, with everything one would want! It's in the city center, near some food spots. It has a washing machine, which I'm pretty sure the staff will let you use.

I booked into this place for one night and ended up staying two weeks. I love it.

Their location is superb, in the old town by the National Bank, but it can get noisy at weekends with the constant street parties. It consists of two old buildings that have been renovated. One of them has a rooftop bar.

I have no problem sharing a room with others as it's a good way to meet people and enjoy communal living. The rooms and bathrooms are basic but fine.

The best thing about this place is the Romanian staff, all of whom are so friendly and helpful. They enjoy helping foreigners and are genuinely warm. Some of the foreign volunteers who work the night shift, and get paid with free accommodation, are not so warm and friendly, but I like the Ukranian artist Dude.
