Nu mai este cum a fost odata. Este pustiu,ti-e frica sa mergi singura. Fintina deteriorata si ce-a din apropierea restaurantului. Nu prea ma mai duc decit vara...

Usually quiet and secluded green isle, equipped with a couple football grounds and a few tennis courts down by the Danube. There is an oriel where the army orchestra used to sing live during celebrations, a musuem dedicated to a writer that lived here, Panait Istrate and during summer you can serve beer and barbecue at some open place in the garden. There is also the abandoned "Water Tower", an old restaurant that had a spinning floor for 360° views of the town.
