Overpriced (average dish price 30 eur, for such price I would normally expect chefs compliments for free as well as bread), average food (tasted as it was warmed up, restaurant is overrated, not impressed. First time google rating was misleading.

It's very comfortable and romantical place. Service wonderful and the dishes are very tasty.

Excellent service! Excellent food. Very reasonably priced. Nothing more needs to be said IMO.

Old-world atmosphere and elaborate service. But to what end? The food is bland. The prices are crazy by Portugal standards (34 euros for a seafood entree plus you'd have to order vegetables on the side for another 10-16 euros). At 9 pm on a weekday the restaurant had a 100% tourist clientele (mostly Asian-Americans). The food actually doesn't seem Portuguese. More like "continental" food as would have been done in the 1950s in a U.S. city.

We had a very nice dinner. The services were very good and comfortable. The waiters were gentlemanly. Gambrinus is a classy restaurant, so it is a little bit costly. It's very common in tourist areas. We enjoyed the foods and wine. Don't forget to try the specialities of the day.
