Just a little bit disappointed. Food was fine, service was fine. It was very very quiet and maybe they tried to hard. Thing is, the other restaurants that we visited in Poland had set such a high standard.

It's very cold there ! Everything else it's very nice :) quiet, with their own climate, tasty food but I took salmon and I was a bit hungry afterwards. Different kind of meats are very satiating. I ordered also a cake and I'd say .... like from my grandma :)

Horrible service. The waiter was extremely pushy: rushing us to order and trying to get us to buy a bottle instead of a glass of the house wine. Food was average: the platter of cheese as starter doesn't come with any bread or nuts but with a quartered orange. When we went to pay, the waiter made us pay the amount without seeing the actual bill first and only after we realised they had added a 20% service charge ON TOP OF THE 10% already included! A crappy place that I do not recommend at all!

We visit Poland on a regular basis, typically 2 times a year. Arriving and usually leaving from Warsaw.
We have several Restaurants that we really enjoy, one of which is Honoratka. The others are Stary Dom, Piwna Kompanja Podwale, and U Szwejka. Good food and ambiance.
With Honoratka, you enter into a cellar, it is located a bit away from the street, some effort required to find it. It is rarely crowded. The background music is traditional polish music. The menu includes most of the traditional Polish dishes that are very pleasing to the palate. We tried their house wine and were never disappointed. The prices are slightly less than average, which allows one to leave a more generous tip. Delicious, enjoyable, time well spent after a day of activity!!!!
