Good restaurant with traditional Polish food.
Worth a visit if you never eaten typical Polish food before.
Nice atmosphere inside of restaurant with good music.
I would recommend to try Ribs and Tatar.

We had a lovely family dinner with 3 children and 4 adults. The food is very good and the atmosphere is nice with live music. The service was great overall we enjoyed our meal at Dawne Smaki.

This is my second time in 3 years to this restaurant. Last time the food was better than this time. Today, I was not so happy with the food. I ordered sturgeon fish which was under seasoned, no taste at all. Honestly, you will get much better quality anywhere in Warsaw with that price. Meat was decent, again not something extra ordinary. Service was ok not so great. I gave better eating only for location and ambiance.

We went here with a group, so we cannot review the food in general. The beet salad was passable. The herring (appetizer) was marinated, inexplicably, in LINSEED oil. Hmm. My husband uses linseed oil as a finish on some of the furniture he makes. On the plus side the herring was served with good Polish pickles... the only ones we saw in all the restaurants we went to in Poland. The smoked trout was underwhelming. It was OK. just boring, and served with Poland's omnipresent potatoes. The restaurant did serve 2 pretty meringue & whipped cream cakes for our group of 35.... complete with shooting sparkler decorations and a spirited rendition of the Polish version of HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our two celebrants. The service was good, and the small restaurant (we filled the entire restaurant with our private party) was lovely.
