Very good place to have vegetarian food. Real good mix of spices and bhindi (okra) masala is amazing. Large place to do family get togethers and friendly staff assists you in best possible way. Starters like tandoori and tikkas are good too.

There are 3 curry places in Newtown. Planet spice and Curry Pot are the ones I go to. Exposed concrete ceiling and white table cloth. Service is good and the dishes are reasonably priced. $10 for a lunch main (as at 2017). Lighting is soft and not bright.
