Very nice and elegant hotel. Very good restaurant, and breakfast served. Rooms are spacious enough and comfortable.

Hotel Asteria is a modern hotel in Venray, NL. Easily accessible by car, but not so much by public transport, it is in a nice but mostly industrial area. The service while here as an overnight guest on business was very good. They seem to be able to dispense with the admin burden - checking in was 2 minutes without any paperwork at all. The room is comfortable, though I was in a 2xsingle room which meant a narrow bed. However, the room was very well furnished and comfortable to do a little bit of work in. It was also very quiet and both nights rest were undisturbed by sound or light. Stunt is excellent, with a nice view outside and excellent food at a very decent price. They have the usual selection of spirits, wine and beer. All in all a very comfortable stay or being on quite a small bad I will definitely come here again, although if I was here right on leisure I don't know what there would be to do nearby.

This is NOT a 4star hotel.
Location next the highway is very convenient, it has a nice outdoor area facing west allowing the afternoon sun to reach the terrace. Staff is kin and helpful.
There is a restaurant with multilevel layout and they serve a decent breakfast.
But once you leave the ground floor things change.
Hallways are grey and dull, looks more like a hallway in a basement, a few ceiling lights and no decorations combined with the green plate with the room number and the dirty carpets makes the place very depressing g.
The room was decent size and seemed clean, but again very ordinary. There was a desk, but no chair, there was a toilet but no cover, there was windows, but they couldn’t open.
And despite the location next to a multifunction room facility for parties etc there was no iron in the room.

Located at the edge of the woods and the exit of the highway this hotel is mainly used by business people for meetings, the rooms are very spacious and they offer a good menu.

Great hotel, spent barely any time there but the time I did spend was good. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms relatively large and the bathroom excellent. The free stuff smelled very nice.
