The food we had here was excellent. Meatballs, great. French fries, PERFECT. Crispy on the outside and very potatoey on the inside. Potatoey? Typical Heineken and Paulaner Weissbier as well which is always tasty. We sat outside next to the river which was beautiful and quaint. But inside! Wow it's so cute on the inside. Velvet chairs, brick, and homey decor. Staff was nice. I would go back again!

We came in a bit later for coffee and cake. Typical response According to Dutch rigidness (saying this as a Dutch); waiter did not even try to hide his irritation.. My family has been cooming here for years but that's over now.

A gem of a restaurant near Slot Zuylen, a worth-a-visit castle-museum nearby. Lots of people come here by bicycle, foot or boat to enjoy coffee, happy hour or a fine meal. Quiet, in a bucolic setting, invites to linger.

Nice location, friendly service, food is of higher quality that goes with a bit more expensive prices but it's obviously worth it. So this is not a place to eat a lot, this is a place to enjoy every bite. Only thing I would add would be a bit more variety on the menu, just a few more fancy ideas in there. And there has to be a ban on the cars driving on that beautiful road by the water. It's shame to distort that amazing area there.

We went to this little cousy place yesterday. The female waiter was great and funny. The food was delicious, the beer and wine very good. From the outside the building looks like it has a long history, well kept and the inside very beautiful.
We are delighted to have found this little treasure in Utrecht.
