The service in Ricks Cafe needs to be improved. First of, the food was delicious. However, although the place was not busy, it took a while for our order to be placed. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. We were not finished our meal and were asked if we wanted to order dessert or coffee as they were closing apparently in mid afternoon. We ordered dessert, I finished my meal but my companion was not finished his. At that point we were asked if our dessert could be delivered. I declined and indicated that could they not wait until we were both done our meals. Perhaps it had something to do with the Moroccan New Year holiday.

Upscale cafe serving a selection of food, desserts and drinks including coffee, Moroccan tea etc. Service is excellent. Interior of the cafe is very retro, 1920's/great Gatsby kind of atmosphere. Worth a visit for afternoon tea or coffee with some dessert.

Best steak outside of the continental USA I've had. Staff were efficient and friendly. We had no reservation and they were booked for the evening but seated us anyway. Good was quick and delicious. Ambiance was as you would expect, just like the movie. Very nice dining experience in Casablanca.
