I recommend Soysauce taste ramen with Natto. You can enjoy Japanese typical food at the same time ;) it is popular among KEIO Uni students.

The atmosphere and ambiance of this establishment is that of a uniquely charming industrial workshop. The steel and concrete design conjures images of welding shops and a friendly neighborhood mechanic.

The food is, rightfully so, the star. Ingredients from the broth, to the noodles, are carefully made from scratch on-site, and each bowl of their Koku Shio Ramen tastes as joyous as the funky beats that that light up this popular establishment.

As is a popular custom in Japan, you can request an "oomori" larger size serving free of charge, but unique to this restaurant is complimentary self-serve cotton candy that you can help yourself to on the way out. Personally, I find a regular serving leaves me happy and satisfied, so I've never indulged in the cotton candy.

The prices are quite reasonable, with the aforementioned Koku Shio Ramen clocking in at under 900 yen. You can easily have a satisfying and delicious meal for under 100 yen and their Ramen stands out as unique amongst so many shops that fall into the habit of doing the usual.

If you don't read Hiragana, you might need assistance with the machine, which is the sole means of placing an order and purchasing, but the staff is extremely helpful and cheerful with all of their customers.

If you are allergic to peanuts, this may not be the place for you. I've noticed that they use peanut oil in some of their recipes, so it would be prudent to ask if you are concerned about peanuts.

If you go on a weekend, show up a little early since this place is really popular with the local university students.

In a very small town filled with so many amazing Ramen shops, it's very telling that HamaTora often has the longest line.
