I went around 1:00 PM yesterday and was not impressed with the few parking spaces inside that were all taken, so I parked on the sidewalk outside. I was surprised also that there were probably less than 10 customers in total by the bar and inside the restaurant. I wondered if the restaurant was full, where on earth would customers park??!! Anyway, when we sat down the waitress raced off the menu, and I had to ask her to repeat since I am used to getting a menu or even as simple as looking at a board and making a choice. In no time, she brought out the plate with meat, shredded cabbage, boiled dumpling and yam with a cup of rice & peas. My niece's plate included a boil yam and, I think, sweet potato. The impression given is that the customers have a choice of meats...eat or leave whatever else the restaurant gives you ...such a course type of service!! The stew pork was flavorful on the rice and peas washed down with the expensive sugar and water that they called "lemonade". I had an issue with asking for a cup of water and getting an expensive bottle of water that I returned. But nevertheless, don't think I will go back there next time I visit Jamaica.

I remember when this restaurant was a great place for breakfast and lunch but it's not even a shadow of what it was. The service is borderline appalling, the lady who doubles as a cashier and a server in the take out section is capable of leaving a bitter taste in the mouth of even the most loyal customer. I regret what it has become. I miss the old Hot Pots and the service it offered.
