Not as great as I had hoped for (still very very good though) and very slow service.
First off, it took them ages to take the order despite us asking two times already to get a waiter to take the order. Took about 20 minutes all in all.
The same could be said about getting the check when we wanted to leave. There weren't that many customers around so the staff is just lazy or slow.
The food: great stuff! The fish was superb and the hamburger wasn't a hamburger because you get the beef patties with potato, salad and no hamburger bread lol. I had a special kebab that consisted of lamb meat and beef. I also got some sauce, french fries and grilled pita included in this main-course. Sadly, the grilled pita wasnt that hot nor that grilled - a letdown. But the meal itself was super good and everything just fit so so well together.
Do feel like the portions could've been a bit bigger but then again, the prices are rather cheap (baby veal steak costs 15 Euros, hamburger costs 10 Euros).

The quality of food is acceptable but not a customer oriented place, they are not giving invoices.

Absolutely great food! Got here on a Friday at around 10 pm and despite our expectations - the place seemed full, got a table right away. We had the Greek sausages and the Kleftiko lamb, and both were very tasty. Service was prompt and the live music added to a great atmosphere. Will go again when back in Athens!

Sitting outside was charming, except for the multiple flying insects that landed in my glass, plate and the communal bowl of bread.
The Arugula Salad that I ordered was fresh, and I had a Moussaka for my main course, which wasn't much to write home about.
The redeeming feature for the high prices commanded was probably the great views of the Cathedral and the City. However, I'd have to admit that the place was a tad hard to find. A friendly waitstaff down the street, redirected us to Psara when we couldn't find it: part of me regrets not going there instead.
TLDR: Overly commercialized, and has probably lost the charm that put it on the many tourist brochures that feature it in the first place.

I spent there an excellent dinner with my friends. We tried lots of starters warm and cold as well. It was almost pretty enough. The main dishes were great in taste and size. The staff was professional and kind. The quarter, Plaka is unique, the view to the Acropolis is unforgettable.
