By choosing the Hotel for our city break in Paris, we were looking by location and price criteria. Hôtel Bac Saint Germain fulfilled both of these criteria. 20-30 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Cathedral of Notherdame. We received more than we expected, as the friendly atmosphere at the hotel made our trip very successful.

The hotel is in a great location --- a neighborhood, with local stores and fewer tourists than areas closer to Notre Dame. Breakfast is great, on a rooftop terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower - which is also the place to go to see it shimmer every hour on the hour. The room, even the larger one, is adequate but for a long stay, a bureau or chest of drawers would be really helpful. The staff is helpful and the price reasonable. I would go back.

Very well situated Hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Generous continental breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice in a lovely room at the top of the building overlooking the chimney tops of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Metro just across the road. Comfortable room. Most enjoyable visit. Thank you.

A nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff who all spoke English. Good breakfast served on the sixth floor terrace with a view over the rooftops north towards the river. The hotels location is very good, being right next to the Metro line 12 which means you can get anywhere quite quickly. Only a 15/20 minute walk through the rive gauche and over the river to the Louvre. Would happily stay there again!
