Terrible service, rude waiter. I wish I had read the reviews before entering, but I was grabbing a drink to step away from the rain. I would have rather stood in the rain than have frequented this place. Would not recommend.

so, the service guy was mean, and didnt speak either french or english.
we asked for 2 petits creams (small coffee with milk), he served 2 big ones.
one of them had a hair on it, and he said: that he (server)has no hair, and bartender either, so basically he blamed it on us... and at the end he forced us to pay the 2 big coffes when we asked clearly for small ones. a place to avoid

If I could give this brasserie no stars, I would, that's how terrible my experience was! As a diner from New Zealand, my wife and I have had typically very good experiences in Paris restaurants, but the waiter and service in this one should be avoided at all costs! He was rude and continued to mock us to the surrounding patrons because we asked to sit under the shelter to avoid the rain. Then he rudely took our order and muttered God knows what to the diners next to us, who then proceeded to laugh. When we asked for our cheque, he didn't bother & we had to leave the money and the premises for fear that I may as well have punched him in the face.

If you are a tourist and have been warned of French rudeness, this is the only place that was experienced, the espresso, hot chocolate and croissant were mediocre to top it off.

Please do yourself a favour and don't even bother with this one!
