Concept here is trying various olive oils, and the owner / server is very interactive and provides a great level of detail on the menu items when you order. However it took 2+ hours for a simple lunch and each dish was overkill with the amount of olive oil doused on top. Pesto pasta was bitter and while ingredients are well sourced, execution is lacking. Overpriced and a bit of a tourist trap.

Little restaurant, with big service by the owners. She cooks, he serves selected olive oils with each dish. Try the avocado salad and the beautiful heritage tomatoes on the tomato and mozzarella salad: one each proved too big for 4 of us. We each chose a different main course and all were excellent. Find this place, but make reservations in advance!

This is no doubt the best restaurant in Nice, despite we didn't really try everything. Great host, veggies, vatiety of olive oils, and other food. A must visit in old town.

Amazing place, owner (and the host) is immensely passionate about his olive oil and food. Absolute pleasure to listen to, he personally sources all his olive oils from local suppliers and avoids wholesale/intermediate suppliers to ensure his olive oils are very fresh.
His hospitality was incredible, it's like he knows exactly what we wanted. We just finished our Aubergine starter and had some oil and sauce left on the plate and without asking he gave us extra bread (the bread was also very delicious on its own) to mop up the sauce. That alone made our visit to Oliviera worth it. Our meal was superb, each dish had so much flavour and was only heightened by their pairings of different olive oils.
Definitely come here if you're in Nice but do try and reserve a table/come early as opening hours are limited.

I do not know where to begin. Oliviera serves exceptional food in a humble environment. The prices are very decent for the fantastic food. The host was so kind, so wonderful, offering us many types of olive oils to try. Absolute must in Nice.
