Record store with focus on jazz. Cheap coffee, wide selection of music and live concert s every week.

Any self respecting jazz fan would be foolish not to drop in here! Funny thing is that I have visited Copenhagen regularly over the years and must have passed by this place with my eyes closed. Not so this time though, and I will definitely be visiting again!
The enormous selection of jazz CD's and LP's is not apparent when you first walk in,
as the immediate area is given over with seating, a piano (which I was dying to try) and a counter where you could order tea and coffee etc. It's only when you walk beyond this point that you are fully aware of how much stock there is here. To do it any justice you would need to spend best part of a day here.
I doubt there is any other place in Copenhagen that has so much to see, that is exclusively jazz. I would therefore urge all jazz collectors to not only check this place out but to support it, because with the advent of so many people downloading things off the internet, this type of place may well be a thing of the past in time to come, and this would be a crying shame! Oh, and they also have jazz gigs here, but unfortunately not at the time of my visit.
