Good food but expected more from this upscale restaurant. Vegetables with the fish had clearly too much pepper. Macadamia nut crust didn't impress me.

Might be one of the worst places I have eaten in Costa Rica. Not quite sure how they managed to get good reviews in the past?? Everything is covered in sweet sauce that is definitely not home made, my plate was anything but what was described in the menu, our sangria was just awful, stuff zucchini was just wrong, 30$ for 5 shrimp on a bed of rice that I can definitely cook better is a rip off, feta salad with no feta? Old lettuce....seafood cigars are just deep fried glorified fish fingers that are tasteless. Stay away from this place. It's a trap, even the staff don't know what to answer you when you mention your food is below average. Your better off going to the grocery store and buying a head of lettuce and eat it right there with no dressing or anything else lol

Where does one begin to describe our experience.....we walked in to a beautiful restaurant with an attentive staff.....and then we ordered food. Damn. Let's start with the the delicious sounding Tropical Noodle Salad, described as being made with mango, mint, basil, avocado, cilantro, grilled beef with a pineapple/orange/lime vinaigrette - topped with chopped peanuts. Ok so what I got was a bowl of fusilli pasta, straight up fusilli pasta that you would get from any local grocery store - with diced avocado, mango and apple. Sounds like it might have been ok, but it was quite tasteless, and c'mon, fusilli pasta in a 'Tropical Noodle Salad'. There was absolutely no mint, no basil, no cilantro and no chopped peanuts. When I inquired about said missing ingredients, I was told "it was in the salad dressing" - the salad dressing was later presented to me and it was as I thought: tasteless.
I didn't end up paying for the salad.
Just thinking about actually reviewing the other 3 dishes that we ate is just too exhausting, so just do yourself a favour and don't go eat there. The food is awful, its actually embarrassing that they have great reviews??? how is this even possible?? Trust me whoever has given this restaurant a good review.....they don't actually have taste buds. The description of the menu is not what is served to the clients, I don't understand how a restaurant can actually do that. My husband and I then ended up on Trip Adviser during our meal and we started reading some of the negative reviews and it was what we were going through so we couldn't help but laugh through our awful meal. We got a discount on our meal, but trust me it doesn't even justify, no one should have to pay for what was served to us. Ok so your kitchen is missing ingredients.....TELL YOU CUSTOMERS don't just bring them a sub par version of it missing half the ingredients.
The Staff was trying to be as polite as they possibly can, but come on its gotta be embarrassing to do a great job and then the kitchen send out disgusting food.

When we got our bill, I had to have it adjusted 3 times to actually accurately get it right. There was another couple beside us that was going through a similar experience so we had a bonding moment. Go eat anywhere else than here unless they get a new Staff in the kitchen that can actually cook.

It's beautiful on the outside and inside. All the staff speak English and Spanish. Great variety of food and fantastic service. Always a pleasure
